Why Google Drive?

Your memories are precious. That is why Journey syncs and backups your entries securely with Google Drive, as in-app data. Access your journal entries instantly via Journey Android, Journey for Chrome desktop (Mac, PC, linux, Chrome OS), Mac desktop standalone, Windows desktop standalone and Journey Online. (Journey.Cloud)

Privacy

The synchronisation with Google Drive is automatic, you do not have to activate this feature. Take note that you will not be able to see your entries from Google Drive. This is because all data is stored as in-app hidden data. This is done to prevent other 3rd party apps or people from accessing your personal journal. Journey does not have the permission to access your Google Drive files and folders.

In addition, we do not have access to your journal entries as your data are stored in your Google Drive. Please refer to Google’s terms of service & privacy policy to understand how Google handles your data.
